DESCRIPTION:MLK Day of Service “We Are One” AKA Service Day partnering with Big Sunday for the 14th Annual MLK Day Clothing Drive & Community Breakfast! \nThis year\, we are once again collecting gently-used (really!) and new clothing. Socks\, underwear and kids’ pajamas must be new. All kinds of clothes are appreciated – work\, school\, casual\, athletic\, fancy\, costumes\, or anything else. Footwear\, too! \nWe’re also collecting all kinds of non-perishable food to help stock the Big Sunday year-‘round food pantry. (Opening in February!) DESCRIPTION:Pink Goes Red: Soul Line Dancing for Heart Health Brings Community\, Movement\, and Purpose to Los Angeles\nAlpha Kappa Alpha Sorority\, Incorporated®—Theta Mu Omega Chapter\, in partnership with The Pink Tea Rose Foundation\, will host the 16th Annual Pink Goes Red community event on Saturday\, February 7\, 2026\, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Southwest College Gymnasium in Los Angeles. \nThis year’s event centers on soul line dancing as a powerful and accessible way to promote heart health\, wellness\, and community connection. Hosted by J&J Soulful Steps\, Pink Goes Red blends movement\, music\, and mission to raise awareness and support for cardiovascular health—an issue that disproportionately impacts Black communities. \nPink Goes Red is part of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority\, Inc.’s ongoing commitment to service\, health education\, and community uplift. The event also serves as a health fair\, providing participants with an opportunity to engage in wellness-focused activities while supporting life-saving organizations. \nSupporting Heart Health Causes\nA $5 donation is suggested\, with proceeds benefiting either: \n\nThe Black Heart Association\, or\nThe American Heart Association\n\nAttendees may donate directly using the event links and are also encouraged to donate socks to participate in the event’s opportunity drawing\, adding an additional layer of community impact. \nCommunity Collaboration\nPink Goes Red is proudly co-sponsored by several Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority\, Inc.® chapters\, including: \n\nAlpha Gamma Omega\nMu Beta Omega\nMu Lambda Omega\nTau Beta Omega\nTau Tau Omega\n\nThe event also acknowledges the support of the Charles R.
