DESCRIPTION:Reparations for African Americans are on the table in the State of California and we want you to join the conversation. Assembly Bill 3121 (AB 3121) was enacted on September 30\, 2020 and establishes the Task Force to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans (Task Force or Reparations Task Force). On Friday\, September 23 and Saturday\, September 24\, from 9am to 5pm\, the Task Force will hold meetings to provide updates and receive public comments about reparations.  \nWe invite you to spend Saturday morning with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority\, Inc.\, Mu Lambda Omega Chapter from 9am to 12pm to learn more about reparations. Get those gently worn shoes and clothes together for a good cause! \nWe are hosting a contactless drive-up and drop-off event to collect boxes of shoes and never-worn or gently worn clothes in good condition.  Our S4S Team will be onsite both days to receive your boxes without you ever leaving your vehicle and will ship them off at no cost to you. \n  \nDate & Time:    Friday\, April 8\, 2022 at 10am-1pm  \n                          Saturday\, April 9\, 2022 at 10am-2pm \nLocation:         UPS at 10736 W.
