Hidden Figures Private Screening

The Ivy Centennial Foundation, in conjunction with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Mu Lambda Omega Chapter and Sisters in S.T.E.M. are thrilled to present a private viewing of the film HIDDEN FIGURES, the incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P Henson), Dorothy Vaughn (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae’). These three brilliant Alpha Kappa Alpha women were mathematicians who worked for NASA in the early 1960’s and played a pivotal role in one of the greatest operations in history, the launch of astronaut John Glenn into space. The film is presented by 20th Century Fox.
We will host a select group of 100 young ladies from all over Southern California on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at The Promenade at Howard Hughes Center Cinemark Theater in Los Angeles, CA.
