On February 5th, Mu Lambda Omega Chapter collaborated with Mu Beta Omega Chapter to host our first VIRTUAL Pink Goes Red event – Get Up and Groove! This was sponsored as part of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Day and the national Alpha Kappa Alpha Pink Goes Red Community Impact day. The two chapters united to bring awareness to women’s heart health and promote exercise through dance. 107 participants consisting of sorority and community members logged into Zoom, dressed in red shirts in honor of the day, to dance to old school tunes led by Old School Skinny. A great time was had by all!
