With hearts full of pride and gratitude, in June 2026, Mu Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® celebrated 48 years of service— 48 years of showing up, lifting up, and standing firm in our commitment to service and sisterhood.
Since our chartering in 1978 in West Los Angeles/Culver City, California, Mu Lambda Omega has been a steadfast beacon of excellence in our community. From award-winning programs that uplift our youth, to health fairs, empowerment initiatives, and educational programs that have touched countless lives — our legacy speaks for itself.
For 48 years, the women of MLO have embodied what it means to Engage, Enrich, and Empower. We have been motivated women who lead — creating opportunities not just for ourselves, but for the communities we are privileged to serve. Our chapter’s receipt of the 2026 Graduate Chapter Achievement Award reflects the dedication, excellence, and heart that our sorors bring to everything they do.
As we stand on the shoulders of our charter members and all who have carried this chapter forward, the best is still ahead.
