The Ballot Party sponsored by the Mu Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Mu Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was an impactful community event that allowed us to have a meaningful dialog about the propositions and how they could affect OUR community. We discussed how to research judicial candidates and additional ways to engage with elected officials long after voting ends to continue to affect change and to hold them accountable to the community. It was a great time of sharing and fellowship!
