MLO wore red – for a day – and hosted Pink Goes Red to raise awareness about heart health in women. Did you know that the #1 cause of death in African American women is heart disease? Sorors, family and community guests gathered at Hart House (Comedian/Actor Kevin Hart’s Vegan Restaurant) in recognition of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Campaign. We ate plant-based for a great cause and we encourage you to try something new and yummy! Good for you and tastes good – now that’s a win-win!!
