Mu Lambda Omega Chapter was on the move on Saturday, February 1, 2020. Not only did we host our 2nd Annual Founders’ Day Pancake Breakfast, we also served our community at the 2nd Annual Black College Expo held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Our HBCU for Life and #CAP Committee Members were busy registering high school students for #CAP workshops and services. By the end of the event, 65 students had registered for our #CAP Program. This program provides high school students with college application preparation, personal statement writing, financial aid and tuition planning, MLO scholarships, and HBCU tours and scholarships. Representatives from colleges and universities, also provided the students with invaluable information about Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Do you know a high school student who would benefit from participating in our #CAP program? Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
