Mu Lambda Omega Chapter joined community organization Big Sunday (shown with Executive Director David Levenson) for the fifth consecutive year for an awesome day of service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We invited family, friends and the community at large to serve with us as we donated and sorted clothes during their 8th Annual Clothes Drive and Community breakfast. Clothes were then donated to local social service organizations throughout greater Los Angeles. In keeping with the spirit of community and togetherness that Dr. King gave his life for, MLO loves this event that brings over 1000 volunteers from all walks of life to work together shoulder to shoulder for a common cause – to help someone less fortunate. On this Alpha Kappa Alpha MLK Day of Service Community Impact Day, it was our pleasure to honor the dream!
