MLO invited the community to join us at the California Reparations Task Force convening at the Annenberg Building in Exposition Park. It was an important conversation where they listened to public comment about reparations for African Americans as descendants of the enslaved. MLO member Attorney Cheryce Cryer gave powerful testimony and then afterward we debriefed over lunch about the history and nuances of reparations.
