Mu Lambda Omega Chapter President Andria Hancock-Crear presented Dr. Daniel Lee with a resolution that summarized his impact on the Culver City community during his last city council meeting on December 12, 2022. He was elected as the first Black Councilmember and the first Black Mayor of Culver City in its over 100-year history. MLO congratulated Dr. Lee for his tireless service as he led Culver City during one of the most challenging times in modern history – a global pandemic and a critical racial reckoning. He delivered solutions that rested in equity and advanced social justice. We thank Mayor Lee for being a MLO partner and for being equally committed to creating a more equitable and prosperous future for the Culver City community. It was MLO’s honor to show our support of Dr. Daniel Lee’s historic tenure and to publicly thank him on behalf of all of the members of MLO.
