MLO partnered with the California Black Women’s Health Project and the Los Angeles Urban League to host a community screening of the film, Even Me, a dialogue on the growing HIV/AIDS epidemic among black women 50+ on February 18, 2016. After the film, independent black filmmaker Megan Ebor, along with a panel of experts, facilitated a spirited conversation about this important topic to explore the consequences and risks for black women 50+ contracting HIV/AIDS. MLO was proud to do our part to get the word out, raise awareness, share resources and to help create a forum in the community, in service to all mankind!
