Rates of food insecurity are back up in LA County with 1 in 4 people suffering. To meet the immediate hunger and food needs of our community, Mu Lambda Omega Chapter works with the @foodbankofsoutherncalifornia and the Curtis Tucker Center for Community Wellness to distribute free food. Last month, we served more than 175 families, and distributed 27 blankets and look forward continuing to support our community’s needs.
If you or someone you know is in need, there is a Free Food Distribution at Curtis Tucker Center for Community Wellness located in Inglewood, CA, every 2nd Thursday, from 10am to noon, on a walk up, first come, first serve basis.
